3 Day Tide Predictions - Complete Tide Info

Tides
High Wind Watch
In effect from 09:52 AM on Friday
until 07:00 AM on Sunday.
...High wind watch in effect from Saturday afternoon through
Sunday morning...

The National Weather Service in Taunton has issued a high wind
watch...which is in effect from Saturday afternoon through Sunday
morning.

* Location...eastern Massachusetts except Cape Cod and the islands
and all of Rhode Island.

* Winds...north 20 to 30 mph with gusts possible up to 60 mph.

* Timing...expect winds to increase Saturday afternoon peaking
overnight into Sunday morning.

* Impacts...power lines...trees...and tree limbs may be downed by
these winds. Fully or partially leaved trees will be the most
susceptible to this damage.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A high wind watch means the potential exists for strong damaging
winds to develop in the mentioned areas. These strong winds are
capable of Downing trees and power lines as well as causing
property damage. If a High Wind Warning is issued...stay inside
and away from windows.
Coastal Flood Watch
In effect from 09:47 AM on Friday
until 09:00 AM on Sunday.
...Coastal Flood Watch in effect from Saturday evening through
Sunday morning...

The National Weather Service in Taunton has issued a coastal
Flood Watch...which is in effect from Saturday evening through
Sunday morning.

* Location...the eastern Massachusetts coast including the north
facing portions of Cape Cod and Nantucket.

* Coastal flooding...minor with isolated pockets of moderate
coastal flooding are possible. The highest risk area appears to
be in the Scituate and Hull areas. Beach erosion is also
expected.

* Timing...during the Saturday evening and early Sunday morning
high tide cycles.

* Impacts...some of the most vulnerable shore roads may be flooded
and impassable for a time during the times of high tide.
Basement flooding is also possible along with beach erosion.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A coastal Flood Watch means that the potential exists for
moderate or major coastal flooding. Moderate coastal flooding
produces flooding of vulnerable shore roads and/or basements due
to the height of storm tide and/or wave action.

All tide heights are relative to mean lower low water.
Time of high total tides are approximate to the nearest hour.
